The Fogman binding system consists of two hardshell boots mounted to a single plate which is fixed between two spring loaded release units. It is designed to release in a crash where the intensity of the fall creates enough force on the release pins that aluminum plate breaks free from the ski. Both feet stay together which can create extra support for the joints that are often injured in a waterski fall. The tension on the release units is adjustable based on the skiers weight.

The boots are fully adjustable both foreward and aft as well as rotationally without moving the pre-positioned release units. This allows you to make boot adjustments without affecting any of the holes in your ski.

The Fogman Diablo binding system has been designed from the ground up to offer top performance in all areas.

Shells - The bright red Diablo shells are custom built by an Italian ski boot company to exact Fogman specifications. The high quality materials used allow for unmatched support while maintaining flexibility in the necessary directions. This is a low volume shell that allows for a much tighter fit for maximum energy translation to the ski. The shell can be customized to fit many different foot types to improve performance and comfort. This is the same thinking used on snow ski racing "plug" boots. The buckles used are a ratchet type buckle similar in design to what is used in the snow board industry. They allow for more accurate control of tightening.

Liners - The new Diablo liners are custom built by a US snow ski boot company. The liner uses thin, dense closed cell foam which is extremely custom moldable for a perfect fit. This liner also provides for excellent energy translation to the ski, is extremely light, will not absorb water.

New Fogman Center Locking System - This new Fogman innovation locks the plate on center between the release units while still allowing the ski to flex freely under the plate. Tests have shown that the Fogman system effects the flex of the ski, roughly 30% less than traditional plate bindings.

Redesigned Fogman Hardware - The new plates, heel cups, release units and toe blocks have been streamlined in design. The materials used for these components are made of composites, anodized aluminum and stainless steel for corrosion resistance as well as long lasting performance and looks.
